How do I setup my rate structure?
There two basic types of rate structures in InnOvation®: calendar-based and package-based.
To setup calendar-based rates, first use the Setup Wizard command from the Tools menu to establish the unit rate structure and set the rates for each unit. Then use the Setup Calendar command from the Tools menu to tie the rates to the calendar. See InnOvation® help topics "How to add unit rates" and "How to set daily unit rates" for more information.
To setup package-based rates, use the Setup Packages command from the Tools menu. See InnOvation® help topic "How to add packages" for more information.
When you make a reservation you can use the calendar-based rate, a package rate, or a special daily rate. You can also apply a percentage discount and tax classification to a specific reservation or all reservations made by a guest.
